Lifting Our Eyes: How to Fix Our Attention on Jesus

Lynne Rienstra
Author & Speaker

We look at our newsfeed. We look at our investments. And on average we look at our phones over 150 times a day. But what if there were a biblical path we could follow out of chronic distraction and into a place of gazing on the One who made and loves us? How might practicing the three essential steps of moment-by-moment communion with God transform how we see God? And how might it change our perception of how He sees us?

Come join this weekend’s journey (through the Cross Chart) as we refocus on God and who He says we are in union with Christ. Rooted in the Psalms, we will “Look at God’s Holiness,” “Look at Our Sinfulness,” and “Look at Jesus and who we are in Him.” With our eyes freed from distraction (and its lies), we can begin to come out of spiritual orphanhood and perceive God’s delight in us as His much-loved children. Then we will begin to walk before Him with “unveiled faces” which reflect His glory to a watching world.
