The mission of women's ministries at HPC is to encourage and equip women to glorify God in the home, church, and community.

  • By fostering meaningful relationships,
  • By providing opportunities for spiritual growth,
  • By inspiring hearts to serve, and

Speaker

Elizabeth Turnage

Elizabeth Reynolds Turnage, MACS, MEd, author, gospel coach, and speaker, is the founder of Living Story (www.elizabethturnage.com). She is passionate about helping people learn, live, and love in God’s story of grace.

Elizabeth has written #1 Amazon bestsellers From Recovery to Restoration: 60 Meditations for Finding Peace & Hope in Crisis and  The Waiting Room: 60 Meditations for Finding Peace & Hope in a Health Crisis. Elizabeth and her husband, Kip Turnage, enjoy feasting and sharing good stories with their large family of four adult children and three children-in-law. They are also the devoted “parents” of the beloved Rosie, a dog who thinks she’s a human.

TUESDAY MORNING PRAYER

Formerly known as the HPC Prayer Walkers, the HPC Scripture Prayer Warriors now meet weekly to discuss the Sunday sermon and to pray for the staff and the congregation every Tuesday from 9-10:30 am. On the first Tuesday of the month, we write cards of encouragement to the church prayer list and others. Anyone is welcome to join us.

WOMEN'S FALL BIBLE STUDY

From Garden to Glory by Courtney Doctor

The Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, is a beautiful, epic, and cohesive story. It is the story of how our eternal God is on a grand mission to redeem and restore his rebellious and wayward children.  You will marvel at the steadfast love of our God who longs to dwell with his children again as he did in the Garden—and who will stop at nothing until he does.

If you've ever wondered "Is God good for women?", then you need to join us! There is something for everyone in this book no matter your age or stage.

You will need to purchase your own book by the beginning of October as we will read the first two chapters in preparation for our first meeting. Here is the meeting schedule:

  • Nov 18 - Chapters 3-6
  • Dec 16 - Chapters 7-10
