The mission of women's ministries at HPC is to encourage and equip women to glorify God in the home, church, and community.
- By fostering meaningful relationships,
- By providing opportunities for spiritual growth,
- By inspiring hearts to serve, and
- By discipling women to demonstrate Christ-like love.

WOMEN'S RETREAT 2021
Elizabeth Reynolds Turnage, MACS, MEd, author, gospel coach, and speaker, is the founder of Living Story (www.elizabethturnage.com). She is passionate about helping people learn, live, and love in God’s story of grace.
Elizabeth has written #1 Amazon bestsellers From Recovery to Restoration: 60 Meditations for Finding Peace & Hope in Crisis and The Waiting Room: 60 Meditations for Finding Peace & Hope in a Health Crisis. Elizabeth and her husband, Kip Turnage, enjoy feasting and sharing good stories with their large family of four adult children and three children-in-law. They are also the devoted “parents” of the beloved Rosie, a dog who thinks she’s a human.
TUESDAY MORNING PRAYER
Formerly known as the HPC Prayer Walkers, the HPC Scripture Prayer Warriors now meet weekly to discuss the Sunday sermon and to pray for the staff and the congregation every Tuesday from 9-10:30 am. On the first Tuesday of the month, we write cards of encouragement to the church prayer list and others. Anyone is welcome to join us.

WOMEN'S BOOK CLUB
Join us this fall as we read The Gospel of Ruth: Loving God Enough to Break the Rules by Carolyn Custis James. This book walks through the 4 chapters of Ruth drawing out themes like grief, hardship, infertility, sacrificial love, submission (a call to both men and women!), women and men working together to build the kingdom, taking risks for God, widowhood, losing a child, and the list goes on. If you've ever wondered "Is God good for women?", then you need to join us! There is something for everyone in this book no matter your age or stage.
You will need to purchase your own book by the beginning of October as we will read the first two chapters in preparation for our first meeting. Here is the meeting schedule:
- Oct 21 - Chapters 1 & 2
- Nov 18 - Chapters 3-6
- Dec 16 - Chapters 7-10
Time: 7-8:30p (no childcare)
Location: At the church
Leaders: Laura Davis & Christine Parker
