Easter Worship Invitation

Every year we celebrate the death and resurrection of our savior. As you approach this celebration at the end of the week, use this built in opportunity to invite someone to come to church with you. Easter is the one weekend a year when your friends and neighbors should expect an invitation to come to church. Even for those who don't normally attend, they will think about coming on Easter Sunday. If you take advantage of this opportunity, you can point those you invite to this website and our Sunday Worship page. On that page you'll find links to listen to a few of the songs we'll be singing on Sunday as well as sheet music and the texts of scripture we'll be reading.

There are also a ton of other resources in the Visitors section of our website. But none of those are as effective as building a personal relationship with those God has placed in your life. I urge you to use these tools and follow the exhortation of the Apostle Paul from Ephesians 5-

"Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is. Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ."

Perhaps you are reading this as one who has yet to connect with a church or become a child of God. If that is the case we would extend a warm invitation to join us at HPC this weekend. Here you will find the relationships I mentioned above as well as a Christ-centered time of worship and fellowship.

Whatever your plans may have been, I would encourage you to join us this weekend as we gather in worship, speaking to one another in song and scripture, rejoicing that He has indeed risen from the dead!

For Christ and His Kingdom,
Josh Huff
